Dr. Kevin Thomas
Dr. Kevin Thomas has been providing quality dental care in the area for over 30 years. He received his undergraduate degree at Boston College in 1981 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Georgetown University in 1986. Since graduating, he has made continuing education a priority, and he attends new courses four to five times per year.Read More
Dr. Richard Thomas
Dr. Richard (Rick) Thomas has been practicing in the area since 1986. He received his undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame in 1982 and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Georgetown University’s dental school in 1986.Read More
Dr. Peter Rider
Dr. Peter Rider has been providing dental care for over 30 years and practicing endodontic care since 1977. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree at Providence College in 1967, he went on to receive his DMD degree from the Tufts University School of Dentistry in 1971.Read More
Susan – Patient Coordinator/Office Manager
Susan has been with our practice for over 10 years. She has been in the dental field for over 40 years. She is a graduate of the Northeastern University dental assisting program, completing her studies there in 1978. Susan keeps our dental office running smoothly and helps each patient have a pleasant experience.
In her free time, Susan enjoys camping and boating. She is married with two sons. Her older son is serving in the Navy, and the younger son is serving in the Air Force. She and her spouse are so proud of their sons and their choice to serve their country.

Debbie – Dental Hygienist
Debbie has been with our team for over 20 years. She received her education at Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene and Northeastern University.
When not at work, Debbie enjoys tennis, fitness, entertaining and traveling.
“I enjoy what I do and the connection I share with my patients. I’ve been with this practice for many years, and I think it helps patients to see a friendly and familiar face. Kimberly – Dental Hygienist
Kimberly is a dental hygienist at our dental office and joined the team in March of 2018. She is a graduate of
Mount Ida College, completing her studies in 2011. She has great time management skills and helps keep the dental office running smoothly. When she isn’t at work, Kimberly likes spending time with her spouse and three daughters.
“I absolutely love my work family. I have the best job in the world, and I contribute by having exceptional interpersonal communication skills to educate and motivate patients in healthy general and oral health. I am patient and comforting with patients who may have a fear of coming into the dental office and am understanding of their fears. It’s my job to make every patient relaxed and comfortable by fully explaining the health reasons and steps behind everything I do inside a patient’s mouth.” — Kimberly
Stephanie – Certified Dental Assistant
Stephanie studied dental assisting at Massasoit Community College and has undergone additional training in radiology and infection control. Before pursuing a career in oral healthcare, she completed her Associates in Psychology. Today, what she enjoys most about being an assistant is providing patients with the important care they need!
An Abington native, Stephanie’s family consists of her parents, her little brother, and her boyfriend. Away from work, her top priority is spending quality time with loved ones.
Dawn – Lead Dental Assistant
Dawn graduated from the dental assisting program at Massasoit Community College in 2007 and holds certifications as a CDA (certified dental assistant) and as a CPFDA (certified preventive functions dental assistant). Following graduation, she became a member on the board of advisors and enjoys training dental assistant students. She is also a licensed RDA in the state of Massachusetts. Dawn joined Thomas Family Dental Associates in September 2014, and loves being part of a practice that she can call home and a team she can call family. Dawn loves being a dental assistant and embraces all her responsibilities to deliver quality care to our patients at all times.
Prior to dental assisting Dawn tended carpenters alongside my father as a union laborer of South Boston Local 223 for six and a half years. Her hobbies include meditation, self-healing and finding new adventures such as flying a helicopter, glider plane and hot air balloon to hang gliding, parasailing, skydiving and being part of a dog team. She has one Siberian husky, Merin, and recently welcomed her son, Dawson. Dawn’s greatest adventure now is being a mother.
