Dr. Mays Al-Saffar

Dr. Al-Saffar says that there is nothing better than changing the life of a patient by giving them a smile that no longer causes them pain or embarrassment. She has seen people’s personalities completely blossom in the chair thanks to their renewed confidence, and she strives to deliver these types of results to every patient.

Dr. Luccio has a degree in biology from the University of Richmond, and he attended the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine for his dental degree. After graduating, he was given the American Academy of Periodontology’s Achievement Award for academic and clinical excellence.

Dr. Herr attended The Ohio State University, earning a bachelor’s in microbiology, and he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He went on to complete a yearlong clerkship focused on dental implant prosthodontics and oral surgery.

Dr. Peter Rider has been providing dental care for over 30 years and practicing endodontic care since 1977. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree at Providence College in 1967, he went on to receive his DMD degree from the Tufts University School of Dentistry in 1971.

Dr. Rania Arif earned her dental degree from Western University of Health Sciences after graduating from the University of California, Davis. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Arif is constantly expanding her knowledge and continuing education through organizations like Spear Education, RipeGlobal, Phelan Dental Seminars, Stribe, and Boston University. She has dedicated herself to fully customizing her approach to each patient to help them feel right at home while she provides fully personalized care.

Susan has been with our practice for over 10 years. She has been in the dental field for over 40 years. She is a graduate of the Northeastern University dental assisting program, completing her studies there in 1978. Susan keeps our dental office running smoothly and helps each patient have a pleasant experience.
In her free time, Susan enjoys camping and boating. She is married with two sons. Her older son is serving in the Navy, and the younger son is serving in the Air Force. She and her spouse are so proud of their sons and their choice to serve their country.

Deborah – Dental Hygienist

Deborah has been with our team for over 20 years. She received her education at Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene and Northeastern University.
When not at work, Deborah enjoys tennis, fitness, entertaining and traveling.
“I enjoy what I do and the connection I share with my patients. I’ve been with this practice for many years, and I think it helps patients to see a friendly and familiar face. I try to put my patients at ease, and I look forward to seeing them. I work with a great group of people and do my best to help out where I’m needed when I can.” — Deborah
Kimberly – Dental Hygienist

Kimberly is a dental hygienist at our dental office and joined the team in March of 2018. She is a graduate of
Mount Ida College, completing her studies in 2011. She has great time management skills and helps keep the dental office running smoothly. When she isn’t at work, Kimberly likes spending time with her spouse and three daughters.
“I absolutely love my work family. I have the best job in the world, and I contribute by having exceptional interpersonal communication skills to educate and motivate patients in healthy general and oral health. I am patient and comforting with patients who may have a fear of coming into the dental office and am understanding of their fears. It’s my job to make every patient relaxed and comfortable by fully explaining the health reasons and steps behind everything I do inside a patient’s mouth.” — Kimberly
Mimose – Certified Dental Assistant

After six years in the dental field, Mimose joined our team in 2021. She attended high school and college in Haiti before completing dental school in Boston. Today, she has her dental assisting license and is certified in CPR. For her, taking care of each patient is the best thing about being a Dental Assistant!
Away from the office, Mimose loves spending time with her son, who she loves very much. Here’s something you may not know about her: she speaks French and Haitian Creole.
Jaquana – Dental Assistant

A Boston, MA native, Jaquana graduated from Madison Park Technical Vocational High School. In addition to being DANB certified in RHS and infection control, she is currently working on her bachelor’s degree! Currently, interacting with patients, meeting new people, and having amazing coworkers are what she likes most about her job.
AJaquana comes from a fun, loving family. When she isn’t spending time with her loved ones, some of her favorite things to do are watching football and baking. In fact, she loves putting together dishes and getting feedback on them!
Nakia – Dental Assistant

Nakia is a certified dental assistant that attended the Lincoln Technical Institute for her studies. She joined our team toward the end of 2022 and has well over a year of experience in the dental field. When asked what she loves most about being a dental assistant, she said it’s making patients happy!
Nakia comes from a big family and has a young son of her own, Elias. When she isn’t at our office or with family, you’ll most likely find her at Bristol Community College – she’s going to school for dental hygiene! Here’s a fun fact about her: she speaks Cape Verdean Creole.
Roseanne – Dental Hygienist

With an impressive three decades of experience in the dental field, Roseanne joined our team in 2022. She genuinely loves helping her patients, which is what she looks forward to most each day she comes in. As for her studies, she attended Northeastern University and Forsyth School for Dental Hygienists. Now, she keeps up with her CEU’s and stays up to date on the latest technology so she can provide the best care.
Roseanne is a mother of three adult children (one son and two daughters). When she isn’t at the office, she enjoys spending time with friends, family, and grandchildren, reading, walking, doing puzzles, and going out to eat. Here’s something you might not know about her: she loves to do yoga and Pilates!
